Safety Awareness Training to Hispanic workers
FREE - GRATIS - FREE - GRATIS - FREE

Building on the successful “Feria Familiar de Salud y Seguridad” (Hispanic Health and Safety Fair) held in Kissimmee, Homestead, and Hialeath by OSHA, DOL and USF in 2004 and 2005; this year the Hispanic Safety Initiative Inc. and the Alliance for Central Florida Safety are offering the Hispanic Safety Fair, a free safety awareness fair for Hispanic workers and their families.

We are still need of donations for door prices, please if you can donate at any level do so!

Workers can choose from among the following classes:


Electrical	Crane Hazards	Landscaping Equipment Safety		Ladder Safety	Scaffolding

Personal Protective Equipment/Chemical Hazards		Power Tools		Raising Supervisor Safety Expectation

MOT / Flagger	Trenching	Food Safety	CPR	Fall Protection	Fire Extinguishers

Available this year; Certified CPR classes, seating is limited so please register before the day of the event, just click on the contact link and indicate if you want the AM track or PM track

While workers are taking classes that make them eligible to win door prizes, their family members will be offered everything from Mariachi to piñatas, and healthcare evaluations (blood pressure, diabetes, heart, and respiratory vital signs). There will be plenty of fun for the workers’ children. Like bounce houses, Smokey Bear, games and face painting.

The Hispanic Safety Fair is possible by generous tax-deductible donations by companies like yours.
