Thank you for your interest in becoming a Hispanic Safety Fair Volunteer.
We have a few different opportunities for you, you can volunteer in our planning
committee, as a trainer or an event volunteer.
Planning Committee:
Meets once a month and more often as the
event date gets nearer. Volunteers may be asked to email and/or call list of
contacts, or organize a group of other volunteers.

Trainer Coordinator: Report to the Event Coordinator (another volunteer) whom is in charge of
organizing the topics and class schedule.
Volunteer Coordinator: Reports to the Event Coordinator
(another volunteer) whom is in charge of organizing the preparation of the
event and activities the day of the event
Trainers:
Report to Trainer Coordinator (another volunteer) whom is in charge of
organizing
the topics and class schedule. Volunteers may be asked to teach more than
one topic or share a topic with other trainers. Volunteers will be asked to
provide the Trainer Coordinator with your presentation.

Event Volunteer:
Reports to the Volunteer Coordinator
(another volunteer) whom is in charge of organizing the preparation of the
event and activities the day of the event. Volunteers may be asked to work at
the registration desk, be a greeter, help with crowd control, or help within
the parking lot.

Terms and Conditions
Compensation:
As the word suggests this is volunteer work, the Hispanic Safety Initiative Inc. however from time to time have
prices that we raffle among the volunteers, or may be able to offer compensation
in some other way, such as providing a complementary booth, adding their company
logo on our literature, or providing training (like MOT flagger training for
parking lot attendants)
Policies that respect and benefit all.
Hispanic Safety Initiative Inc. has established policies in order to
provide a safe, high caliber volunteer program. Our policies were
developed to be fair and respectful to all and benefit the volunteers themselves,
and the support staff handling all logistics at the Hispanic Safety Fair.
A stellar reputation to uphold.
Hispanic Safety Initiative Inc. volunteers enjoys a stellar reputation among the
many organizations, and parents with whom we've worked. We
credit this reputation to the excellent conduct of our past volunteers. The
Hispanic
Safety Fair volunteers represent our organization, and we expect them to act
according to the highest standards of ethical behavior. The Hispanic Safety Fair
Initiative Inc. reserves the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to
immediately dismiss a volunteer from the program if he or she is acting to the
detriment of the organization or the individuals within it.

Commitment to quality.
Cancellations at any time - but especially after October 1st - place a serious
burden on The Hispanic Safety Fair
Planning committee and jeopardize the quality of the program we are
able to deliver. Therefore, in fairness to the organization, and to other volunteers
themselves, and to the generous donors who cover part of the contribution, please
consider finding a replacement before you cancel.
Travel:
Travel arrangements and expenses to and from the program location are the
responsibility of each volunteer. The Hispanic Safety Fair
Planning committee may be able to meet a volunteers at the airport.
